Safety & Trust

Built for kids. Answerable to parents.

You're handing us your child's curiosity and their time. Here's exactly how we treat both — in plain language, with no fine print doing the real talking.

We ask the guardian, never the child

Our inquiry form collects your name, your email, an optional phone number, and your child's age range. It never asks for a child's name, birthday, address, school, or photo.

There are no child accounts

Nothing on this site asks a child to register or log in. The Self-Paced Lab unlocks against a guardian's email — an adult's decision, made once.

The AI Playground stores nothing personal

Daily usage limits are counted against a one-way salted hash of the guardian's email. No email, no name, and no child data is ever written to that database.

AI keys never reach the browser

Every AI request runs on our server with per-student daily limits. A child's device never holds a key, and no one can run up a bill from the page.

Cookies are default-deny

Only essential cookies run until you say otherwise. Analytics loads only with consent, and behavioural advertising tags are confined to guardian-facing pages — never the pages built for kids.

We teach AI safety, not just AI

Chapter 4 of the Lab is spent entirely on where AI gets things wrong — hallucinations, bias, and the rule we repeat throughout: never type personal details into an AI.

Things we will never do

  • We never sell, rent, or trade personal information.
  • We never require a child's personal details to reach learning content.
  • We never place behavioural advertising pixels on pages made for kids.
  • We never ask for payment details from a child — enrolment is handled with you directly.
Full disclosure

What leaves our servers

When a student uses the AI Playground, the text they type is sent to the AI provider that answers it — that's how the tool works. We attach no identity to those requests, and we teach students never to include personal details in them. Lead inquiries are delivered to our own mailbox by email; we don't keep a marketing database unless you tick the optional opt-in.

Still being written down

We'd rather leave a gap here than claim something we haven't formalised. These policies are in progress ahead of our live programs launching, and we'll publish them here in full:

  • Instructor vetting and background-check procedure
  • Supervision ratios for live camp sessions
  • Safeguarding and incident-reporting policy
  • Photo and media-release process for showcases

Need one of these before you enrol? Ask us directly and we'll tell you exactly where it stands.

Questions we haven't answered?

Ask anything about safety, privacy, or how a program runs — we'll answer plainly.
